Download Windows iso on Android sd card
Is it possible. I wiped my hard drive on accident. Long story involves beer. My only other device is an android tablet or phone. I have a SD card. Is there a way to do windows 11 .iso on to an SD card then somehow boot my laptop with it. I have a an SD card reader

Hello! You've posted your question in the Tech Community Discussion space, which is intended for discussion around the Tech Community website itself, not product questions. I'm moving your question to the Windows 11 space - please post Windows 11 questions here in the future.
- jkCambCopper ContributorYou can use an OS other than Windows to create a bootable media but I cant see how you could make the SD card bootable on an android phone. And this assumes your computer can boot from SD card

Hi jkCamb
And can you explain how to do this so that the installer mounts the system image on the computer disk?
- jkCambCopper ContributorThe installer will see previous ( existing) installs automatically. Your problem is how to make a bootable image from an android device. Sorry I have no idea....I have made bootable USB images from MACOS and Linux ( instructions are easily found thru a google search) but made an never made using Android

Hi biker_jay
certainly not!You can only use a USB drive with another computer with Windows installed.
