Delete windows.old manually or let Windows do it?

Question

I installed 24H2 on 12/15. &nbsp;No issues during installation and none since, other than a couple anomalies (noted in a different post.) &nbsp;I've read that Windows will delete the Windows.old folder after 10 days. &nbsp;I assume that means tomorrow sometime and I also assume it will do it in the background and I won't know until I look at the C:\ drive in Explorer. &nbsp;If it's still around in a couple days, any reason not to delete it via the settings/system/storage page?

Let Windows do it. If Windows doesn't deletes it, and the folder takes a lot of space which you can reclaim, you can delete it manually.
