Default apps file explorer
Since the last update files in file explorer folders do not use the default apps anymore. If I click on an image file it now always open in photo but my default is set to Photoshop. Same with pdf files they now only open in Acrobat reader. I need to open every file by right clicking and choosing the default app... very annoying...

Hi, I’d reset the file associations directly by extension. Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps, search .jpg, .png, .pdf, etc., and set each one to the app you want. If File Explorer still ignores it, try right-click > Open with > Choose another app, tick “Always,” and also check whether the update installed or reset Microsoft Photos/Edge defaults.
