Debilitating problem
HI
I experience a debilitating problem with Windows 11. So I entered a topic: 1) Where do we report a bug? 2) How do we request a change if Microsoft doesn't think its a bug? (We used to call this later situation an "RFC" when I worked for a manufacturer)
The problem is right now, Windows wants to reboot. When it does that it, at least the last time, it also disconnects me from my email. I need my email so that I can talk with people. It's very important to me. I chose to use Windows 11 thinking that it must be at least as good as Windows 10 was. But if I reboot, it appears that Microsoft now willfully throws away important login information to my email. I am on Google Email.
I have 3 places where I use Google email: On my Windows laptop, on my phone, and on my Mac. Mac doesn't throw away my login and history. The Android of course doesn't either. And Windows 10 NEVER threw away my login.
But Windows 11 does. Windows 11 makes it very difficult to access my email. On all 3 platforms, I am using Chrome.
But Windows 11 suddenly apparently decided it would disable Chrome and THROW AWAY IMPORTANT login and history information! Some of the information can not be easily recreated. Some of it is actually kept by Google.
But Windows 11 decided it would just destroy this. Why? This is my personal laptop which I bought at a computer store. When Windows destroys this data - I can't log into my Email anymore! That ruins my connectivity to the world. Windows 10 never did this. Why do this to me?
Question 1 Why would Microsoft decide to destroy my data? 2 What would motivate Microsoft to change that decision? 3 How do I submit a request for change (RFC) for Windows 11 so that it does not disable me?
Thank you very much for reading this. Right now, Windows is asking to do a shutdown and update as it just did about 20 days ago. Is my data going to be destroyed again?
Please help.

Richard_Katz Hello! You originally posted this comment to this weekly round up post from March 2020: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/tech-community-blog/the-march-27th-weekly-roundup-is-posted/bc-p/4198234#M1053
Your question is unrelated to that blog post, so I've moved it into the Windows 11 discussion space. Please post Windows 11 questions in this discussion space in the future. Please note I am a community manager and not a product expert, so unable to give you any additional insight into your question, but hopefully the experts here can help you.

Re: Please post Windows 11 questions in this discussion space in the future.
I was unable to find a heading on the page anywhere that pointed to the Windows 11 section
Right now, for instance, all I see at the top is "Search" Earlier, I saw "Windows 11" but it had no link underneath it.
Thanks for moving this to the right place.- EricStarkerFormer EmployeeSorry you had trouble finding it. If you go to Community Hubs on the top left (or on some systems or on mobile, the burger menu on the left side), you will find it there.
Or here is the link to bookmark it in the future: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/Communities/ct-p/communities

I would like immediate support - in that if I let Windows 11 reboot it's fairly likely to lock me out of email yet again. So I will try that.
- Richard_KatzCopper Contributor1) Thanks for getting this to the right location. It now shows a "Home" entry and "Windows" and "Windows 11." I'm not sure how to make the "Home" appear. Before, I saw "Windows 11" but I could not make it click. But other than that at least its in the right place. 2) I really need to not have to create a log in for email every time Windows reboots. Windows 11 has only done this to me once. But it was horrifying. And I really don't want to have this happen again. Windows is now asking to be able to reboot again and I am very much afraid I'll get locked out of email again. It was a very uncomfortable experience. I don't think you should be doing that at all. And I would like to find out how to do an RFC process. Windows 10 never did that to me. Nor does the Mac nor the Android and they all work OK - if someone doesn't come along and delete their storage image as Windows 11 is apparently doing. Thanks for finding where this should be. All the best, Rich Katz

Richard_Katz Sounds good! I'm glad it's in the right place. I'm unable to assist with your specific Windows 11 issue (or any issue not directly related to the Microsoft Tech Community website) so I'll leave that portion of your response for the product experts.
