Curse of the blank Icons
I've been routinely experiencing an issue where, upon startup, my desktop icons from the Xbox app from the Microsoft Store remove their images and display only blank, white, dog-eared icons.
I have manually restored these icons by using the Xbox application and re-shortcutting them to the desktop. This action fixes the issue for a couple of days. However, I end up with the same problem again.
I have tried deleting the IconCache in C:\Users\user\AppData\Local. I have attempted the Run / Terminal instructions to do the same. I am still experiencing this issue.
Any guidance on a resolution to this would be greatly appreciated.
I can only assume that I'm not the only person experiencing this, and I hope that smarter individuals than I have come up with a solution and are in the right place to share.
Thank you in advance for any assistance you provide.

You first right-click on the desktop → View → uncheck Auto Arrange Icons and Align Icons with Grid → manually drag the icons to refresh, if not resolved may be a graphics card driver problem, try to update the driver or temporarily disabled Transparent effect in Settings > Personalization > Color.
