Create Asahi Linux bootable usb installer on my Windows 11 Laptop?
How to Create Asahi Linux Bootable USB on Windows 11 computer?
1. Download the Asahi Linux ISO:
-Head to the Asahi Linux website and download the latest version.
2.Format Your USB Drive:
-Plug it in, open Windows Explorer, right-click on the USB drive, and select "Format." Choose FAT32 as the file system.
3.Use Rufus (or a similar tool):
-Launch Rufus, select your USB drive, and choose the Asahi ISO file you downloaded.
-Make sure to select "DD Image" if that option appears on Rufus; it ensures proper writing.
4.Start the Process:
-Click "Start," and let Rufus do its thing. It might take a little while, so kick back and relax.
5.Verify the Bootable USB:
-Once done, you can double-check the integrity of the USB. If you have checksum values available, use a tool like CertUtil on Windows to verify.
6.Eject the USB Properly:
-Don’t forget to eject your USB drive safely!
Note:
If You Boot and Get Errors: Ensure your Mac is set to allow booting from external drives. You might need to enter recovery mode (hold Command + R during boot) and change settings in "Startup Security Utility."
Still Not Booting: Double-check the boot order in your Mac settings and ensure that your USB drive is prioritized.
