Could Win11 show how many windows are open on the taskbar?

I’ve always found it a little inconvenient that Windows doesn’t clearly show how many windows are open for each application. When multiple windows are grouped under the same icon, it’s hard to tell the exact number at a glance.

Some designs use a small number badge on the icon, while others change the indicator under the taskbar icon to represent the number of open windows.

Would a feature like this improve the Windows 11 taskbar experience, or would it add unnecessary visual clutter? I’m curious what others think.
