Clicking X to close File Explorer - Issue
Hi all, I had to reinstall Windows 11 and I have a strange issue that only occurs with File Explorer. When I click on Minimize/Maximize/Close and let go of the mouse button, the action doesn't occur until I move the cursor away from that area. For ALL other applications, as soon as I press the button the action occurs as expected. I can't believe this is some sort of feature and I don't understand why this would be happening only with File Explorer and not with other applications. Has anyone experienced this before and knows how to fix it?
Hi Steve, I posted this in a reddit forum as well and someone responded saying it's a known issue with the beta. I was so confused by the behavior, but it would make sense that it's a bug given it only occurs with Explorer (as far as I can tell anyway).

I just realized I was experiencing this issue as well. I have Build 26120.3291. I thought it was simply hanging on something inexplicable, but a little while ago, I started noticing the File Explorer window closed as soon as I moved my cursor away. Quite strange.

Same problem...just started a couple of days ago. I'm in Windows Update Beta...not sure if it a new update problem or not.
