Can't Get Windows 11 Computers To Network
I have two HP Pro Tower G9 computers that are pretty much identical. They have 12th Gen Intel Core 13-12100 processors running at 3.3 GHz, both have 32 Gb memory. They are both running Windows 11 Pro OS build 26100.3476.
Something else they have in common: They do not want to communicate over the network! The icons for the respective computers on on each other's displays, but when I click on the icon, I get a message that the network path was not found.
I have turned off firewalls and antivirus programs on both machines, have made sure SMBv1 is enabled on both, set sharing protocols to the hard drives on both machines, but still can't get past the network path was not found issue.
At this point, I really don't care if they cannot find the other computers on the network, but I would like to get these two on speaking terms with each other.
I have to take care of some other things, so I'm going to have to sign off. I will check back in the morning. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
