Can't enter pin
I was suddenly unable to enter my PIN on the login screen both at boot and restart. Nothing from the keyboard at all. I swapped keyboards - nothing. I followed my newly gained knowledge to delete my PIN and after logging in with my password I reset my PIN - nothing. I tried quite a few other things then finally reimaged with my image from just the problem started - nothing. In the end it was solved by adding another, this time local, user account.

Even though you swapped keyboards, sometimes the USB ports can act up too. If this happens again, try plugging the keyboard into a different USB port, especially a USB 2.0 port (think back to the older ports).

It is an external or internal keyboard?

This may be a dumb question to ask but have you checked if numlock key was activated on your keyboard ?
