Can't connect laptop to PC. There is an x sign on the desktop

Had the issue when I set up my router as WPA3 instead of WPA2. Turns out my WiFi dongle doesn't support WPA3.

In device manager, disable your wifi adapter and re-enable it.

Turn off your router for 30 seconds. Turn it back on.
