Cannot unpin or remove Excel files from Pinned files in Taskbar
Hello,
I recently moved all my files (Documents, Pictures, etc) to OneDrive and all seems to work fine, but for a small problem, when I right click on Excel on the Taskbar, I have some “Pinned” files, which are not available anymore, but I cannot Unpin them nor delete them from the TaskBar menu.
See picture.
Any idea how I can get rid of them??
Thanks in advance!

I posted same question on Microsoft 365 forum, and subsequently posted a reply suggesting how I solved it, look at

Seeking an answer that would have limited impact on my working practices I stumbled upon a simple solution. I did a right-click on all these pinned items I could not delete, and clicked on "New". This opened the file, closed without saving, and magically the "undeletable ghost pinned excel file" has disappeared from my pinned items list.
And of course this made space for more non-pinned items, since the list is limited to 10 entries only.
I have no idea what exactly caused the problem, but it disappeared now.
Again thanks for taking the time.
