Cannot map a drive attached to the router
I have a drive that is to the router through the USB port. I've been using it to stream music to various streamers in the house (one at a time). Recently the drive disappeared, i.e., it is no longer visible in file explorer on my desktop which is connected to the router via ethernet. The drive does not come up in the streamers' interface, either. It used to discoverable as DLNA server.
I tried different solutions I found online but none of them worked.
When I click 'add a drive' and type the IP address \\192.168.10.1\name I get to Windows Security screen which asks for username and password. I enter the info and click enter and the same screen pops up again and again until another pop up that says "you do not have permission to access 192.168.10.1, contact your network administrator".
I am the only one who uses this PC and I have the administrator privileges.
I'd appreciate if someone can help me solve this issue. I'd like to listen to my music collection by streaming and not by inserting individual CDs into the CD/DVD player. That is soo 20th century :)

In the router's management interface, check the sharing settings for the USB storage device to ensure that guest access is enabled or that an account has been created with credentials that match those used in Windows.

In the router's administration interface, check the sharing settings for the USB storage device to ensure that guest access is enabled or that an account matching the Windows credentials has been created, and try connecting using \\router_device_name\share_name instead of the IP address.
