Ensure You're Fully Logged Out of Microsoft Account:
Go to Settings > Accounts > Your info and double-check if it still shows a Microsoft account or local account.
If it’s still showing Microsoft, try clicking Sign in with a local account instead and follow the steps to complete the process.
Disable Widgets Completely:
- Right-click the taskbar, and choose Taskbar Settings.
- Turn off Widgets under the Taskbar items section.
- Ensure News and Interests are completely turned off in the taskbar settings.
