Can Windows 11 run on a Mechanical Hard drive
I would like some advice. I have 1ssd and 3 hard drives in my pc however it would seem that that the ssd is dying. It is only used to run windows and games that greatly benefit from running on a ssd....
Yes, Windows 11 can run on a mechanical hard drive, but it will be much slower in boot time and everyday use. If possible, getting the 128GB SSD is the better option for running Windows, even if space is limited. You can keep games and files on the hard drives. Using a failing SSD for storage is risky, so it’s best to replace it as soon as you can.
