Can we talk about how unreliable Phone Link has become?

When I first set up my laptop, Phone Link worked surprisingly well. I was getting notifications from pretty much every app, including messages, WhatsApp, and calls. It actually became useful enough that I started relying on it.

Over the past few months, though, it has become incredibly inconsistent. Notifications randomly stop coming through, calls are often missed completely, and sometimes the app says my phone is offline even though both devices are connected and everything appears to be set up correctly. There was even a period where it couldn’t recognize my phone at all for almost a month.

What makes this more frustrating is that I’ve already gone through the usual troubleshooting steps multiple times. They might get things working temporarily, but there never seems to be a permanent fix.

I’m not really looking for troubleshooting advice here. I just want to know if other people have noticed the same decline in reliability. Phone Link used to be genuinely useful, and it feels like Microsoft needs to put some more attention into making the experience consistent again.
