If your photos are stored on an SD card, using data recovery software to recover them is an effective method. The steps are as follows to recover deleted photos from Samsung galaxy phone.
- Remove the SD card: First, turn off your Samsung Galaxy phone and remove the SD card.
- Insert the card reader: Insert the SD card into a USB card reader, and then connect the card reader to your computer.
- Download data recovery software: Download a reliable data recovery software on your computer.
- Launch the software: Install and open the data recovery software of your choice.
- Select Scan: In the software interface, select your SD card as the scan target, and then click the "Scan" button.
- Wait for Scan: The software will start scanning the SD card for deleted photos. This process may take several minutes, depending on the size of the SD card and the amount of data.
- Preview and Recover: After the scan is complete, you can view the found files. Find the photos you want to recover, select them, and then click the "Recover" button. Choose a safe location to save these photos (it is best not to put them back on the SD card to avoid overwriting the original data).
This way you have a higher chance of recovering deleted photos, especially if the data on the SD card has not been overwritten. Hope this helps!
