Can I change the info on infotips?
Where do infotips get the info details from? I'm asking because on the C drive, the infotip for videos - MPG, WMV, MP4, etc. includes the length of the video. This is really useful info. On the D (backup) drive, for the same videos, the Length is replaced by Date Modified. Can I change the info on the infotips?

For media files like videos, Windows often reads metadata embedded in the files (e.g., duration, resolution, codec info) via codecs or media player integrations.

You cannot directly edit the infotip content in Windows Explorer without specialized shell extensions, but you can: Ensure your videos have embedded metadata. Use third-party tools that enhance or customize tooltip info.
