You can try forcing Windows to keep the microphone active:
In Device Manager, find your headset under Audio inputs and outputs.
Right-click > Properties > Driver tab.
If there's an option to Update driver, try updating.
Alternatively, disable the Hands-Free profile (if possible) or switch to mono.
