I’m really sorry, that is a rough situation. The straight answer is that BitLocker cannot be bypassed without the recovery key. That is the point of the encryption, and there is no safe backdoor Microsoft or anyone else can provide. I’d check every possible place first: the Microsoft account recovery key page, any work or school account, printed copies, saved text files, OneDrive, USB drives, and any other admin account that may have enabled encryption. If the drive was managed by an organization, their admin may have the key. If no key exists anywhere, the data is unfortunately not recoverable.
