I know how frustrating it can be dealing with HEIC files on Windows, especially when they don’t open smoothly. For me, I found HEIC Converter to be super handy. It’s pretty easy to use—just drag and drop the files, convert them to JPG. No fuss, no hassle, and the quality stays intact.

To view heic files on windows 10 or 11 computer, if use the built-in Photo Viewer on Windows 10/11 for HEIC files can be super convenient once you've got that HEIF Image Extension installed, but with the HEIF extension, some users (myself included at times) run into compatibility issues. You might think you're all set, only to open a file and see a distorted image or an error message. It feels a bit like playing Whac-A-Mole—one file works, and then the next one doesn't! It can be super frustrating when you're trying to browse through a bunch of photos.
