Backup larger than copy on Windows computer?
weird thing, I made a backup with macrium 8, the saved part is C: on Disk F:
I am surprised that there is a huge difference between the saved image and the result image on F:
I know there's compression, but that's huge, isn't it ?

Macrium Reflect uses advanced compression algorithms (like LZ4, ZSTD, or others), which can drastically reduce the size of the backup if the data contains many repetitive or compressible files.
