Backing up Windows 11 - Using the built in free tools on your PC to create a backup

File History automatically backs up your personal files and allows you to restore previous versions.
Steps:
- Connect an external drive or network location where you want to save backups.
- Open Settings (Windows key + I).
- Navigate to Update & Security > Backup.
- Under Back up using File History, click Add a drive and select your external or network drive.
- Turn on Automatically back up my files.
- To customize what gets backed up, click More options.
