Avast posts on my Windows 11 computer

Hello, to protect my PC I use the default protection of Windows (Windows Defender) and Avast (for around 15 years). For 2 to 3 years Avast has been increasingly intrusive with messages such as: "your banking data may be exposed, "your connection is not encrypted" etc..., messages with the aim of obviously switching to a paid version.

However, I was wondering if these 2 protections are sufficient? what if a VPN could protect my PC even more effectively? (I should point out that I have a VPN but that I do not use it when connecting).
Thank you in advance for your answers

Just keep Windows Defender as your primary protection, uninstall Avast, and use a VPN.

Keep only Windows Defender as your primary protection, uninstall Avast, and use a VPN to enhance your privacy and security.
