Automatically expand a "Documents" folder
No folder pinned in Quick Access AND contained in "Documents" expands automatically in Windows 11 Explorer.
Other folders not belonging to "Documents" expand fine.
If I log in to another session of this PC, then these "Documents" folders ("Documents" of my session and not of the one with which I am connected), which I pinned in Quick Access, expand normally.
How can I get my folders contained in "Documents" and pinned in Quick Access to expand automatically?

Ensure the folders aren't set to "Always show icons, never thumbnails," which can sometimes interfere.

Thank you for describing the issue with your "Documents" folder and Quick Access in Windows 11 Explorer. It sounds like certain folders within "Documents" are not expanding automatically unless you log into a different session, which suggests a profile or cache-related problem.

Great question! It sounds like you're experiencing an issue where folders within "Documents" that are pinned in Quick Access are not expanding automatically in Windows 11 File Explorer, unlike other folders.

Some shell extensions or customization tools can interfere with folder expansion. Use ShellExView to disable non-Microsoft shell extensions temporarily to test if they are causing the issue.
