Any recommendations for best heic to jpg converters Windows 11?
Some heic to jpg converters might be sketchy regarding your privacy. You don't want to upload your photos to an unknown website, especially if they could contain personal information. Always choose offline converters when possible or stick to reputable online services if you need to go that route. It's about keeping your data safe!

Most of the HEIC files come from iPhone as HEIC is now the default format to save photos on iPhone. In fact, you can change the format to JPG so all images taken on iPhone will be kept as .JPG file extension. Here is how to do so:
- Go to the "Settings" app on your iPhone.
- Scroll down and tap on "Camera."
- In the Camera settings, tap on "Formats."
- Under the Formats section, you'll see two options: "High Efficiency" and "Most Compatible." By default, "High Efficiency" is selected, which saves photos in the HEIC format. To save photos as JPEG, select "Most Compatible."
After that, connect the iPhone to Windows 11 PC via USB cable and access the iPhone photos from the DCIM folder. The benefit of this trick is that you don't need to install any HEIC to JPEG Converter app on Windows PC. However, the image quality is not as good as the original HEIC format.
