After resetting the Windows 11 Security Center, it freezes for about a minute before crashing
I was unable to open the Security Center earlier, so I reset my computer. After the reset, the Security Center opened, but every time I open it, it freezes on the initial screen for about a minute before crashing automatically. I’ve already tried resetting and repairing the Security Center in Settings, but neither worked. How can I fix this?

That usually happens when Windows Security services or system files become corrupted after the reset. You can try restarting the Security Center service, running sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth from Command Prompt, and then checking for pending Windows updates. In some cases, third-party antivirus software also conflicts with Windows Security and causes freezing or crashes after launch.

Try running sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup Image /RestoreHealth in Command Prompt as Administrator then restart your PC. Also make sure the Windows Security and Security Center services are running as corrupted system files or disabled services commonly cause the Security Center to freeze and crash.

Ensure your Windows is fully updated, as updates often fix bugs.
Go to Settings > Windows Update and install any pending updates.
