After clearing Edge cache, I lost multiple system settings...
I cleared out the cache on my Edge browser and then restarted my computer. I do this occasionally, about monthly or so, previously without incident. This time, after restarting the computer, the vid...
Oh wait! I got fed up with the blasted thing, so walked away... now 2 hours later, Windows 11 fixed itself! The screen is reset to the proper resolution and the sound is back... PTL!
Problem solved, but I think it will be a LONG WHILE before I ever clear the cache unless I have a very good reason.
The cut-off screen might be caused by a display scaling issue or a resolution reset. When you restarted your computer, Windows might have reset the display settings to their default values.
