Access OMV SMB shares from W11 Home

Hello,

I have my media library on a NAS running OMV. It is set to SMB V2 minimum. I can see the machine from the laptop but not access the shares. 

 

Can we work through allowing access to the NAS please.

    0x80070035 against the NAS name, so first separate name resolution, transport, and authentication. Try the exact share path rather than only the server name, and test TCP port 445 to the NAS with Test-NetConnection. If the port is unreachable, investigate the network or NAS service before changing Windows security settings. If it is reachable, verify the share exists and use a named NAS account with permissions instead of guest access. SMB2 being enabled is necessary context, but it does not resolve credential or signing compatibility. Microsoft documents that Windows 11 Home does not have the same default signing requirement as Pro, so do not assume the Pro workaround applies. Keep SMB1 disabled and avoid broadly disabling signing; provide the Windows build and authentication error next.
