22H2 Taskbar at the Top
I had a registry hack which allowed one to have the taskbar at the top of the screen, since updating to 22H2, that hack has be removed in the registry and the taskbar is back on the bottom. How can I have the taskbar back to the top ?
Windows 11 update 22H2 has effectively killed all Taskbar related apps.
And interestingly these apps are available on the MS store.
RoundedTB no longer works!
TaskbarXI no longer works!
I can't for the life of me figure out how Microsoft works.
We are all different and we all like to customise our Windows experience.
Yet MS totally ignore its customer base.
For years we have been asking for dock style taskbar.
Even with a degree of transparency but NO... According to MS we can all take a running jump off the pier !!

My Windows10 on many PCs works fine, I still have the taskbar at the top of the screen, 2 more years and I'll be forced like everyone else to Windows11.
- leighforevaCopper ContributorThis hack works for me with the 22h2 update:

Hi Reprobus R
I also have a taskbar at the top of the screen (automatically hidden), but until October 2025 I will remain in Windows10.
you can simply roll back the 22H2 update, up to 10 days after the upgrade.
- Reprobus RIron ContributorI don't want to roll back the 22H2 update. I want to place the taskbar at the top of the screen in 22H2 which Windows automatically removed.
