.PSPimage thumbnails not showing in file explorer, but...

In file explorer:

  1. In file explorer, in a folder:   My *.PSPIMAGE files will not show thumbnails, but rather the icon for it.

    2) However, in file explorer in "Recent files" the thumbnails show up.

This is a real productivity killer.   How can I get the PSPIMAGE file thumbnails to show up in all folders?
I have already made sure the box is unchecked in settings.

Windows does not natively support thumbnails for PSPImage files.

You may need a codec pack or plugin that provides thumbnail support for PaintShop Pro images.

Check if PaintShop Pro (or your image editor) has an update or plugin for thumbnail support.

OK... in review read my post again.

The thumbnails show the image for pspimage files in the "recent" folder... But they do not show the image in any other folders.
So the capability is there!!!  It just does not work in ALL folders.

They do not, but there used to be a plugin.  Have not found one.  And hard to trust them.
