Windows immediately recognized USB without asking to format the drive
Whenever I connect a USB drive to my Windows computer, it is recognized immediately without prompting me to format the drive, even if the drive has data on it or was previously used with other devices. This quick recognition sometimes causes concerns about data safety or compatibility issues, and I am unsure if this behavior is normal or if there might be a problem with how my system handles USB devices.

To customize what happens when you plug in a drive, go to Settings > Devices > Autoplay. Here, you can select a default action for removable drives, such as "Open folder to view files" or "Ask me every time".
When you plug in a USB drive, Windows automatically mounts it and assigns a drive letter so you can access your files right away. This is by design—the operating system is built for "plug and play" convenience. For most drives, this recognition happens within about 30 seconds.
