Windows immediately recognized USB without asking to format the drive
Whenever I connect a USB drive to my Windows computer, it is recognized immediately without prompting me to format the drive, even if the drive has data on it or was previously used with other device...
When you plug in a USB drive, Windows automatically mounts it and assigns a drive letter so you can access your files right away. This is by design—the operating system is built for "plug and play" convenience. For most drives, this recognition happens within about 30 seconds.
