Windows 11 Pro x64 occasionally prompts for activation, after almost 2 years of service!

Recently I have noticed a text in the lower right-hand corner of my home screen asking me to activate Windows.
I already did so in September 2023, when I had installed 23H2, and have used Windows without problems since then.
The notification goes away if I reboot, and doesn't show every time I login, but if I look under Settings - System - Activation, it says, "Windows reported that no product key was found on your device. Error code =0xC004f213"
The PC is joined to a (private) domain, and has been since I first commissioned it in Sept. 2023
Windows automatically updated it to 24H2 at the end of last month. Could that have something to do with the issue?
I went through all of the automated troubleshooting options without success.
What is the easiest way to get this sorted?

Yes, the update to 24H2 may have caused the activation token to be lost or invalidated. The error 0xC004F213  means " No product key found" which often indicates that Windows is failing to retrieve the embedded key or activation token post -update. Reapplying the key or forcing reactivation should resolve it. If it persists, contact Microsoft support with proof of activation history, they can reactivate it over chat or phone.

Since your device is domain-joined, activation is likely based on Key Management Service (KMS) or digital entitlement tied to your domain licensing.

Domain-joined devices may rely on your organization's Key Management Service (KMS) or Active Directory-based activation, which might need reactivation.

The activation prompt and the error code 0xC004F213 you're seeing — especially with a domain-joined Windows 11 Pro — suggest that Windows is losing its activation status, possibly due to an upgrade or domain-related configuration change. The fact that it was working fine since September and then started prompting again after an update (like the 24H2 upgrade) supports this.
