Windows 10 mobile no longer receives my outlook emails or sends emails March 2023
On the 23rd March on my Nokia Lumia 650 mobile no longer sends or receives emails from the outlook.com account which it did before. It keeps saying you outlook settings are out of date.
Have pressed Fix issue - which it says it has done - But it hasn't!! and then it says attention required.
Have deleted the account and then added it back - says it is syncing but nothing ever arrives.
Can anyone help me please?
- Villager2021Copper ContributorMy Lumia 950 XL also stopped receiving emails through the Outlook Mail app on December 11 2023 and it says the same thing. Sadly we have to live with outlook.com website with the for some reason outdated ui on Edge Legacy.
- dorianglassCopper ContributorThanks Villager2021.
- dorianglassCopper ContributorYes, my Lumia 650 just did that as well, though, a lot later than yours as at July 26th 2023. Exhibits EXACTLY the same symptoms as yours. And, no reply from anyone. Suspicious...

Hi there. I had to go into my msn account on my laptop and delete loads and loads of emails to reduce what was stored. I had received an email earlier in the year that had said that the amount of data allowed was going to lowered to 5 mb.
I deleted most emails in inbox, sent items and then deleted items after that and that worked - in came the emails. Then soon after my phone wouldn't access the internet too and so bought an Iphone8 off ebay that had been refurbished. It is amazing and can do so much more.
Hope this helps you and others.

Thanks so much fir the guidance ... much appreciated!
It seems clear that MS want to finally kill off Windows Phone, sadly.
So, yes, no point in pursuing this outdated phone -- need to move on.
As mentioned, it's my secondary phone so not a major crisis.
Take good care,
Dorian
- jimbo650Copper ContributorHi, outlook appears to have become a form of webmail, open the browser on your lumia 650 search oulook mail , [ you may need to log in] you shoul see your emails, then click opption to save this page to start menu. once this is done it should show [ inbox outlook] this is a direct link to your emails.
this worked for me just took a while to get my head around the problem. good luck.
