What to do: A Window opens somewhere off-screen where I cannot see it?
A window keeps opening somewhere off-screen where I can't see or reach it, and I have no idea how to bring it back into view. This happens every time I launch the program, so I'd really appreciate any advice on how to move a window that's stuck outside my visible desktop area.

Click the window in the taskbar to focus it before moving.
You can usually bring it back using the keyboard, even when the window is off-screen.
- Press Alt + Tab to select the affected window.
- Press Alt + Space to open its window menu, then press M for Move on an English Windows installation.
- Press an arrow key once, then move your mouse toward the middle of the screen. The window should follow. Click to place it.
If Move is unavailable because the window is maximized, press Alt + Space, then R to restore it before repeating the steps.
If you previously used another monitor, try Windows + Shift + Left/Right Arrow while the window is selected. This moves it between displays. If you now use only the laptop screen, Windows + P > PC screen only can also bring windows back from an extended desktop.
Once the window is visible, resize or move it slightly, then close the program normally and reopen it. Many apps save their last window position when they close.
