What Time Zone is used for Event ID: 6008 (unexpected shutdown)

Hi,

Anybody knows what is the time zone what Windows is using with it is writing the following event?

Log Name: System
Source: EventLog
Date: 16/03/2022 09:03:27
Event ID: 6008
Level: Error
Description:
The previous system shutdown at 9.53.19 on <u+200e>16.<u+200e>3.<u+200e>2022 was unexpected.

 nbsp;me: System

As you can see the date/time for the event is at 9:03 but the description says it was 9:53. In my mind that is a bit in future. But that should be no possible?down at 9.53.19 on <u

  • I think it's UTC time, an hour difference in my case, but if a system is really overloaded.. Then the time is not handled correctly anymore and lags behind, could be ten minutes in this case. (And that extra hour)

      Hi Harm_Veenstra

That would be interesting as the machine is on UTC+1 time zone. But perhaps we could believe Windows just try give warning a bit ahead 😄
