Subject: Request for Assistance with Cellular Connectivity Issue on Windows 10 Professional
Dear Microsoft Support Team,
I hope this email finds you well. I am reaching out to you today to seek your valuable assistance in resolving a cellular connectivity issue I am experiencing on my industrial device running Microsoft Windows 10 Professional, version 10.0.19045, build 19045.
My industrial device is designed for use on construction sites and incorporates an Adventech unit, which includes the Adventech AIW-344 USB communication interface. I have installed the necessary drivers for Windows 10 to enable cellular network connectivity.
The problem I am encountering is that upon startup, the cellular connection remains disabled, and I am unable to activate it using the activation/deactivation button. The only temporary solution is to toggle the airplane mode on and off, which restores the cellular connection to an activated state. However, this workaround is only feasible through the user interface. Since this device is intended for industrial use on construction sites, using a keyboard and mouse is not practical. We require cellular connectivity in remote locations, allowing users to connect to the network using a wireless access point.
It is important to note that this issue does not occur when I test the same device with a Linux operating system. This indicates that the problem does not stem from the hardware but rather from Windows. However, due to software incompatibilities on Linux, we prefer to utilize the Windows operating system. Hence, I am seeking your assistance in resolving this problem.
I would greatly appreciate it if you could investigate this matter and provide a solution to automatically enable cellular connectivity upon device startup. Your expertise and support in this area would be invaluable to me and my team.
Thank you sincerely for your attention to my request, and I look forward to your response. If you require any further information or additional details, please do not hesitate to let me know.
Best regards,
Usman

usman121815 Hello!
First, I want to emphasize that you are not reaching the Microsoft Support team here. That team is only reachable at support.microsoft.com. The Microsoft Tech Community is a community of experts, end users, as well as employees, but it is not intended for direct support of products.
Secondly, you've posted in the Away From Keyboard space on Tech Community, which is intended for casual, non-technical conversations. I've moved your post into the Windows 10 space - please post any further Windows 10 questions there (again, noting you are not reaching the support team there).
