snip and sketch make PChang

Hi all,

 

I use snip and sketch to screenshot and edit the picture. In quite a number of occasion, my pc hang and all other applications that are running are hang too. 

 

Any other encountering this? and what's the solution?

 

Windows 10 Home Single Language version 1909

    Sometimes it might be related to graphic card driver, since when you open this app it will engage with graphic a bit, it is also good idea to update your graphic card driver too.

    Hello,

     

    Suggest you to run System File Checker scan:

     

    1. Search for 'command prompt' using Cortana or Windows Search.

     

    2. From results, right click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.

     

    3. Type sfc /scannow command and press Enter key.

     

    4. Let the command complete and then reboot the machine.

     

    If issue still persists, perform clean boot:

        As the system hangs, there is a possibility of file corruption. Running SFC scan is a good tool to identify that file corruption. 

         

        Additionally, have you tried resetting Snip & Sketch app or reinstalling it?
