Question about a firewall on guest OS in Virtual Machine
Once I am on guest OS in Virtual Machine (whether a Virtua1Box, Vmvere, or something like that), do I have to turn the firewall on, or is it unnecessary if it is on in my host machine?

The host machine's firewall protects only the host OS and the network traffic directly involving it. It does not automatically protect the guest OS inside the VM. The VM is essentially a separate system with its own network stack.
