My PC Doesn't See Western Digital MyCloud NAS
Hi,
I'm not very familiar with the process here so please bear with me. I chatted with MS tech support for over 90 minutes this morning and they couldn't resolve my issue and suggested I try here.
I am operating Windows 10 on a small home network (2 PCs, a printer and a NAS). I purchased the Western Digital MyCloud storage device (4 TB) to store all the data from the 2 PCs. The device is visible from one PC, but not the other. MS tech support tried a nmber of things but to no avail. I have a transcript of the Chat, but it is an htm file and I don't know how to get that to you.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm needing the data on the NAS to prepare for the classes I'm teaching.
Thanks!
Bill

Judging by the lack of responses, this is clearly an unsolvable problem.
- Reza_AmeriSilver ContributorThank you for your question, this is a public forum so NEVER share any personal information including the transcript. Are both devices running Windows 10?
Have you installed the latest update on the affected device?
Have you tried connecting it to a different USB port?- wmscottCopper ContributorHi @reza,
Thanks for your response.
The only reason I talked about the transcript was that's what the MS phone guy said I should do - i.e. post it to the forum. In response to your questions:
* both running Win 10 Home
* all updates are installed.
* the device is connected via WiFi.
Again, thanks for reaching out. I appreciate it!
Best regards,
Bill
