How can I circumvent the system policy that forbids installation of this device?
Dear Blake,
This is Sumit from the Microsoft Community, and I'm here to assist you with your query.
I apologize for any inconvenience you may be facing, but rest assured, we are dedicated to resolving your issue.
It seems that there may be restrictions set by a work account on your computer that prevent the installation you are trying to make.
Here is an alternative solution for you to try:
1. Connect your phone and device to your computer and utilize the USB Tethering option.
2. Go to Settings > Windows Update > Additional Options > Optional Updates.
3. You will find a driver update available for your WiFi.
4. Another option is to extract the driver package and install it manually.
Follow these steps to install the drivers manually:
1. Open the driver package and click on Extract.
2. Access the Device Manager by pressing Win + X and selecting Device Manager.
3. Expand the Network Adapters section.
4. Right-click on the Wi-Fi adapter and select Update Driver.
5. Choose "Browse my computer for drivers."
6. Select "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer."
7. Click on the "Have Disk" button.
8. Browse to the folder containing the driver files and select the .inf file.
9. Click OK and then Next to install the driver.
10. Restart the system if necessary.
I await your response eagerly and am committed to assisting you until we find a suitable resolution.
