dot-matrix printers fail to be recognized after the installation of update KB5126657

my windows version :  19044.7807

 

After installing update KB5126657, the 85-column, 24-pin dot-matrix printer (DE-620K) is no longer recognized via the USB interface.

 

Everything returns to normal only after uninstalling update KB5126657.

Has anyone else encountered this same issue, and how can this problem be fixed?

    Same issue with an older Dymo printer, appears the update affects legacy printer drivers (type 3?). No matter what the device doesn't get properly recognized. Still searching for a solution, we've also uninstalled the update. Try posting on TenForums, may get more help there.
