A mysterious folder appears and i am afraid to delete it because i don’t know what it does
A mysterious folder named "System Volume Information" or something similar appeared in my root directory, and I'm hesitant to delete it because I don't know its function or whether it's essential for Windows operation. Could someone explain what this folder does, why it appeared, and whether it's safe to remove without causing system instability or data loss?

That's normal windows folder for recovery like system restore. Did you configure settings to “Show hidden files"? If yes, then that's what make it visible
