new users cannot sign into salesforce - power platform error
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/sales-copilot/setup-installation-and-sign-in/first-user-cant-create-trial-environment?context=%2Fmicrosoft-sales-copilot%2Fcontext%2Fsales-copilot-context
so as per article we already have a few users on sales copilot working fine. The power platform trial environment was create by first user, its there "msdyn_viva".
new users that were added with licenses cant login to salesforce - it gives error saying it cant create the trial power platform environment. - they are not suppose to be creating a new environment, its already there we have users using sales copilot fine for last 2 months..
why is it that these net new users are attempting to create a new power platform during sign in?
the only change was Microsoft change our license to be displayed as "DO NOT USE - Microsoft Sales Copilot"...why would Microsoft put this in the licenses name; there is no other changes in our environment..

- wchucgfCopper Contributorso i end up deleting our msdyn_viva power platform environment (which was auto-created in USA region). get a net new user to reattempt login and they can see the salesforce login screen now - great...NO. old existing sales copilot salesforce users now cant login...only new users who never used sales copilot can login. On top of that the new power platform environment created itself in Canada region. What is going on here...this all started when microsoft renamed the licnese to "do not use" with no explanation. that is exactly what we are doing now - NOT USING SALES COPILOT...
error for inaugural sales copilot users:

Hello, sorry to hear you ran into the original problem where new users were attempting to create a new Dataverse instance. The reason this is happening is you have organizations in multiple geographic locations and traffic from the United States organization's Sales Copilot got routed to the Canada organization's Sales Copilot.
If you or anyone else runs into this, please open a support ticket and we can fix it.
We highly recommend you do not try to delete one of the auto created environments as this will cause other problems as you saw. For this specific environment we were able to fix this on our side. Can you please try again? You may need to reopen outlook to load the latest state.
thanks,
Sam- wchucgfCopper Contributorim in! thank you. yes i opened a ticket that may have been how this thread got to you. hopefully all connections stick and point to the canada trial environment in power platform now
