Unable to register HP M430 - Error Code 1
printer is on corp communicating via FW. Not using connector.

Hi:
If this is your first Universal Print Ready printer it might have to do with Entra ID conditional access' policy for Block Device Code Flow. I received a similar error. It is trying to register HP for Universal Print application, but it cannot. Temporarily disable the policy, so the app can be published, and then exclude HP Universal Print from the conditional access policy. - printertalesBrass Contributor
Direct firewall setup without a connector can cause compatibility issues with Universal Print. Make sure the printer fully supports native Universal Print and required ports are open.

If you’re managing multiple printers or want more centralized control, consider using print management tools or print servers. Make sure firmware and drivers are up to date. For security, restrict access to trusted IP ranges and use secure protocols where possible.
