To Do entries just disappeared from app and web
Hello all--
I love using To Do as a part of my Microsoft Office suite at my health care job (Windows).
I use To Do to track not only tasks but to store also ideas for the future.
After a recent vacation, almost all of my to-do entries have disappeared from the app and todo.office.com.
They do not return with restart. Let me know if anyone has a fix. Sad to lose this work. Thanks!

Hello Viterbi and others about your disappearing data on To Do. Is it possible that any you may have got assistance in getting your info back on To Do?
Same has just happened to me now, Man I had a lot of notes on there. I am a musician and many of my set lists, songs. music reminders, gig info. Yes Wunderlist was great. I have lost on all 4 devices. Spent so much time trying to find a contact email, chatroom anything for microsoft but no such luck, terrible terrible. If anyone has any info please drop me a line. much appreciated. all the best Denis Me too ... I can see some in Outlook, but don't know if it's all of them.

vickicarlisle hi there, you and several others have responded to see if there is a fix… From reviewing many posts on this board about the same problem, it just seems to be some thing inherent in Microsoft to do.
My new system is going to be backing these up with screenshots weekly? Which is ridiculous. But I still like the to do tool and just wish it could be trusted.- I fixed mine - I had to fully log out of MS and back in, and everything reappeared.
- Today I wake up and missing items. The time I have spent searching for a solution would have been more productive moving to other software
I don't know if this helps too much, but I think I may know the reason why this is happening. In some web development projects I'm working on, I have to clear my browser's cache occasionally. The other day when I cleared the cache, I had Microsoft To Do open in another tab. When I went back to that tab, it had me sign in again, and my older tasks were gone. It seems that tasks may then be stored in the cache? Unfortunately, I have not found a way to restore any of the tasks...
