Teams Personal app not visible on mobile clients
- Nov 09, 2020Hi ayusharya
Try putting it in an app setup policy. See this document
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/teams-app-setup-policies#:~:text=%20Create%20a%20custom%20app%20setup%20policy%20,following%20tasks%3A%0AUnder%20Installed%20apps%2C%20select%20Add...%20More%20
Let me know how it goes. Once you have added the app to the app setup policy it can take up to 24 hours to show.
Best, Chris

ChrisHoardMVP Thanks for the reply.
As per the below mentioned link, teams mobile client doesn't support personal apps with static tabs.
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/MicrosoftTeams/teams-app-setup-policies#edit-an-app-setup-policy
This feature is of utmost important in my case as we are deep linking teams bot buttons to tab pages and therefore in-availability of this feature is causing issue in mobile apps. Please let me know, till when we can get this feature or if there's any work around for this issue.

- Manish-MSFTNov 10, 2020Former EmployeeI have received an update from that team is planning to fix this issue in November sprint but due to code freeze on the mobile client side, the fix will be available only in January when app will be released to the store.

The doc says that it might not appear in mobile clients. Please clarify in which case it will appear and in which case it won't because mentioning might not is creating too much uncertainty.
