Icon image set for Incoming Webhook in MS Teams is not displaying.
Hi Prasad_Das-MSFT and benniah - Yes, I have connected with the engineering team. At the time of debugging, we created a new incoming webhook and set the icon image to it and it worked! as expected. Before the call, I updated my MS Teams applications to the latest version. So it seems that this issue is fixed in the latest version. benniah - You can try to update the latest version of MS Teams and also create a new webhook to test it.
Microsoftanishabhyankar - Engineering team responded us saying, they don't see any requests for tenantId that you have shared. Are you still having the same issue? If yes, please do share latest details
Prasad_Das-MSFT - I am not clear on the meaning of "they don't see any requests for tenant ID that you have shared". I have shared the latest details already with you. Can you please confirm what this means as I am using this tenant only?
its Nov 2024. same issue. the phone/icon uploaded with webhook is not appearing. still see the default one.
- Same here. It was working fine and now it's not, out of nowhere, with no code changes.
benniah I have the same problem, but sadly this is not a solution for me as I'm using the web based Teams. I've tried Ctrl+Shift+R and that doesn't fix it.
I can confirm that this functionality was perfectly fine two months ago and I've discovered the issue today. Microsoft must have broken something in the meantime.

anishabhyankar - Did you connect with engineering team? Were you able to resolve the issue? Any suggestions for benniah to try if your issue is resolved by connecting with engineering team?

Prasad_Das-MSFT - As you said earlier to connect with the engineering team, I have sent an email to mailto:email address removed for privacy reasons for time confirmation. But they have not replied to my email yet.
Could you please check with them? to reply to my email and time confirmation?

@ssj_springctin- Engineering team needs fiddler trace and in order to debug further need to get into call. Could you please schedule a call/meeting with engineering team adding proper agenda? Preferred time: 10am to 9pm IST

You can find the channel's object ID in red and the Tenant ID in green.
We can still reproduce the issue -

anishabhyankar - They mean to say in this tenant they can't see any incoming webhook request that has been triggered.
