Question about "Terms of use" url
Dear Sir
We are preparing Teams app to upload Microsoft Teams Store.
One of requirements is about the URL of "Terms of use"
I have checked "App validation" on Microsoft Teams developer portal.
App validations says "warning" about "Terms of use URL must not be hosted in a domain different from Company/Website URL. Note: Please ensure the Terms of use provided pertains to this app offering."
We currently uploads "Terms of use" on our own AWS server.
Therefore our Terms of use for Teams app is "https://eur02.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fterms-eula-ipecsone.s3.amazonaws.com%2Findex.html&data=05%7C02%7Cbyunghee.sohn%40ericsson.com%7Ce8d9507dea9c40980ab008dcdd07b531%7C92e84cebfbfd47abbe52080c6b87953f%7C0%7C0%7C638628272374048173%7CUnknown%7CTWFpbGZsb3d8eyJWIjoiMC4wLjAwMDAiLCJQIjoiV2luMzIiLCJBTiI6Ik1haWwiLCJXVCI6Mn0%3D%7C0%7C%7C%7C&sdata=Nh3z7uFvHX5ofYvsidmNmnBgfXMV4xMF9PJC9ij4yeE%3D&reserved=0"
In this case, is this an issue?
Can't we use AWS url for "Terms of use" ?
Many thanks

If your company has two websites, one for general company information and another for product-specific information, and you are using the product site for your Microsoft Teams app, it would be best to use the second product introduction domain for the "Terms of use" as well.

byungheesohn - Thanks for reporting your issue.
The "Terms of use" URL must be hosted on the same domain as your company or website URL. Consequently, using an AWS URL like "https://terms-eula-ipecsone.s3~" would not satisfy this requirement. To adhere to the validation guidelines, you should host the "Terms of use" on a domain that aligns with your company's website URL.
Thanks,
Nivedipa

Thanks for the quick response
I have additional question.
Our company has two web sites
One is normal company introduction site.
Second is our product introduction site.
For Microsoft Teams app,
We are using the second product site. And for "Privacy policy" site is sub domain of the second product site.
In this case, do have to use the second production introduction domain for "Terms of use"?
Otherwise, the first company introduction site is available for "Terms of use"?
Many thanks
